Two Tickets

I have been staying away from any reviews of Super 8, JJ Abrams (Lost, Star Trek) newest film. I feel the less I know about this film, the better the experience will be. I have allowed myself to see two trailers just to get a feel for it, and my first thought was ET. I mean it seems to have a little more bang, but there are lots of ET undertones. I could be way off with this, it’s been known to happen before. 

I have a feeling that I will come out of this movie – as I have with other Abrams films (Cloverfield comes to mind, even though he is just a producer), thinking that I didn’t really like it that first time around, but the second I see it, I will probably find it to be more impressive…seems to be the way of things. Anyway look for a review this weekend, and if you have seen it weigh in with a comment.
